Venice Italy - Nov 2012

Typical side street canal

Ponte di Rialto
Oldest bridge over the Grand Canal.
Went through several versions, but this stone one was finally built in 1591

Walls of the Armory

St. Mark's Square

Doge's Palace

Inside the Doge's Palace

Bridge of Sighs
The Courtrooms were in the building on the left, the prison in the building on the right.
This was the last place to see a family member or loved one after they received their sentence.

Front Gate of the Armory

Typical side street and bridge.
Notice the high water marks from the winter floods.

One of many churches throughout the city.

Just a goon tourist.

Ponte di Rialto in the distance.
